Obtaining car finance with your help can be made very easy and the banks who lend the money need to know the following to enable them to approve your vehicle finance request.

Confirmation of who you are in the form of photo ID, which could be either a copy of your Driving Licence (photo style) or Passport.

Confirmation of where you live, such as a utility bill or credit card statement dated in the last 3 months.

Confirmation that you can afford the payments, as all our funders are responsible lenders. Depending on how much you need to borrow will depend on what will be required, typically for a business the easiest way is to provide your last full set of latest accounts, for an individual simply your last 3 month bank statements.

OSV tip: “if you don’t have accounts or bank statements or you would rather not provide this information simply advise your Sales Advisor at the beginning of the negotiations so we can provide quotations only from banks who are unlikely to ask for the information”

Once we have the information from you we will forward it to the relevant bank for underwriting. The bank will do a credit check through the normal channels and come back with their answer, or a request for further information.
