Congratulations to the Fiat’s two cylinder 500 TwinAir, which has secured a top car industry award.

The 0.9-litre TwinAir is the current International Engine of the Year. Its latest award; the 2011 GreenFleet Awards City Car Manufacturer of the Year highlights the car’s popularity and excellent environmental reputation.

The TwinAir engine is capable of an impressive 0-62mph acceleration in 11 seconds, while its maximum speed is 108mph. CO2 emissions are just 95g/km, along with 68.9mpg fuel economy (combined cycle).

The Fiat 500 TwinAir was introduced as part of the 500 model range in June 2011. The TwinAir range has a great look. The model is enhanced by black alloy wheels, burnished metal effects on the dashboard and front and rear mouldings, spoiler, chrome exhaust pipe and sports seats.

The Fiat 500 TwinAir, with its low consumption and two-cylinder clean petrol engine, was the clear choice for the City Car Manufacturer of the Year Award. The car, which is still only a year old, is gaining in popularity as businesses look for a maximum return on their fleet investment.

The Fiat 500 TwinAir range starts at £11,600 OTR for the 0.9 TwinAir, rising to £15,500 OTR for the convertible 500C TwinAir Lounge.
