Mini has revealed its two exciting new special edition hatchbacks, inspired by fashionable areas of London.
The new Mini Baker Street and Mini Bayswater will be available for purchase from 1st of March in all of Mini’s global markets.
Mini Baker Street
Mini boast that choosing their new Baker Street model will be ‘elementary’ thanks to its dramatic design.
Drawing inspiration from the classic atmosphere of the Sherlock Holmes legacy, the new Mini hatchback comes in an exclusive metallic Rooftop Grey paint, trimmed with subtle black bonnet stripes creating an understated V-shape.
You can also decide to have your Mini Baker Street in either Pepper White or Midnight Black, and as either Mini One, Mini One D, Mini Cooper or Mini Cooper D models.
Individual details that distinguish the Mini Baker Street include ‘Baker Street’ lettering on the door sills and side scuttles and 16 inch ’6 star’ alloy wheels in a high-gloss black which matches the door mirror caps.
If you opt for a Cooper or Cooper D model, your Mini comes topped with a sleek black roof.
The unique detailing isn’t limited to the exterior either.
Inside, the seats are upholstered in a fresh Cross Check Rooftop Grey, and the distinctive fabric trim adds flair to the cockpit and door trim.
The Mini Baker Street comes with an impressive equipment list, including the Pepper Pack as standard.
This includes automatic air conditioning, on-board computer, leather steering wheel, Bluetooth connectivity and a multi-coloured interior lighting package.
As in the entire Mini range, a digital DAB radio, is a standard feature.
The Mini Baker Street will be available to purchase from £16,365. Finance or lease options are also available.
The Mini Bayswater
The Mini Bayswater is hot as its name suggests. Mini’s inspiration for this hot hatchback comes from the vibrant West London area between classy Knightsbridge and fashionable Notting Hill.
The design is as eye-catching as would be expected from such an inspiration. The Mini Bayswater sports a Kite Blue metallic paint that was designed just for this model.
The wheels, stylish 17 inch alloy ‘Sandblast’ wheels, with a high-gloss black finish and spoke edges, were also created solely for the Mini Bayswater.
Among the Bayswater’s finishing touches are the sophisticated yet spirited blue and grey Sport Stripes on the bonnet. The left stripe is blue and the right is grey, with the door mirror caps continuing the striking asymmetrical colour scheme.
Another flourish is the Bayswater lettering on the indicator surrounds and door sills.
Mini have included the Chrome Line, Chili trim and equipment packages as standard, and then added a variety of bespoke extras.
These include Punch Leather seats in Rock like Anthracite and unique side bolsters with a metallic sheen and blue and grey contrast stitching.
The Mini Bayswater is available to purchase from £18,565. Finance or lease are also available.
