Do you like to honk your horn? Eat a sandwich whilst driving? Or maybe you just hate sticking to the speed limit?
This short quiz from OSV will help you determine which country your driving style fits best. From the USA to India, Australia to the UK, you’ll finally know where you will feel at home behind the wheel.
So follow the flowchart and find your country, and share with your friends and family to compare results. The results might just surprise you!
Of course, this quiz is just a bit of fun. But, some of the questions and answers relate to some official road rules from around the world.
For example, did you know that in France drivers are required by law to carry a breathalyser in their car at all times? And although it may sound bonkers, in Moscow you can receive an on the spot fine for driving a dirty car.
Here are a few more strange rules OSV found.
In Thailand, it is illegal to drive without a shirt on.
In Spain, it is illegal to drive in certain footwear. High heels, flip flops and backless shoes are just some of the footwear to avoid.
In Portugal, it is illegal to carry bikes on the back of your vehicle.
On South African roads, shepherds have the right of way.
In Beijing, pedestrians have no right of way when it comes to crossing the road.
But in Singapore police will stop you for dangerous driving if you come within 50 metres of a pedestrian.
In Germany, it is illegal to run out of fuel on the Autobahn.
In Manila, you’re not allowed to drive on Monday’s if your number plate ends in 1 or 2.
In Costa Rica, it’s not illegal to drink alcohol whilst behind the wheel. You just have to make sure your blood/alcohol level is below 0.05%.
And apparently, in Denmark, you must check for sleeping children under your car before you set off. Although we have not found an official law to back this up.
