Six months after Jaguar announced the C-X75 hypercar would stay as a concept car and never go into production, Autocar thought this story was dead. But then, we got a call asking us to go and drive it and find out just how far Jaguar and Williams engineering had managed to push the envelope. With 390bhp of electric drive and a 500bhp twin-charged 1.6-litre petrol engine it will accelerate to 100mph in less than six seconds.
