This Mk2 Toyota MR2 Turbo looks like a great buy and it’s possible to find many like this
The one that interests us most is the turbocharged version. Earlier MR2s were known for lift-off oversteer, so the quick turbo isn’t for the faint-hearted, but drive one properly and pick your cornering speed right, and you’ll be given a rewarding driving experience. It’s a car with a powerful heart.
If you’ve ever looked for a Mk2 MR2, you’ll have noticed that there are a huge number of modified cars out there, some of rather dubious taste. That’s why we’re particularly tempted by this example. It’s an imported Japanese GT version, which has the all-important turbo engine. It’s entirely standard, has done a reasonable 110,000 miles, and looks to be in fantastic condition. And all this for just £2995. Tempted?
