Lexus’s RX 450h: a full hybrid luxury SUV boasting refined and sharper new looks with higher equipment specifications. There is also a new F Sport model.
Visually similar to the RX 350, the unique stylish design changes come in the form of a spindle-shaped grille, a new trademark aspect typical of this Lexus design, hybrid badging including blue-trimmed Lexus logos, blue-tinted head and tail lamps and optional LED headlamps.
With improved controls, the car also boasts of a restyled steering wheel, integrating a new selector switch to enhance the various drive modes, plus a revised remote touch controller functioning just like the computer mouse.
The new RX is available with a selection of option packages, which include features like a Mark Levinson surround sound system, a dual-screen rear-seat entertainment system, dynamic radar cruise control, and a sports package featuring a sport-tuned suspension.
In addition to the styling changes, the entry-level RX 450h SE now has perforated leather upholstery.
The F Sport edition adopts a whole new sporty persona, offering both sharper looks and astounding performance, with features that include a deeper, extra vertical front bumper, 19-inch alloy wheels and the F Sport badge mounted on its exterior.
The F Sport has chassis and engine tweaks for more sporty dynamics, including a lateral damper system to increase stability.
The 2012 Lexus RX450h is on sale now, with prices starting from £44,495.
