It’s been a fantastic few years for Sussex-based OSV Ltd, the UK’s leading independent vehicle supply professionals. Strong sales led to a company expansion, new premises, and four new members of staff joining the team. In late 2015 four existing team members were also rewarded for their outstanding work, with an internal promotion; if you’re looking for a local good news story, OSV has to be a strong contender. To say thank you to their customers, and to enhance their already superior service, the brand have recently invested in a serious overhaul of their website and online services, with the aim of providing a one-stop-vehicle-information-shop to make the car purchasing and hiring process simpler.
The new OSV website will feature a comprehensive vehicle resource centre with videos, articles and ebooks selected to answer every customer question. With downloadable guides and searchable content, which will be continuously updated with the very latest information, the site will provide an invaluable source for anyone looking to upgrade their current vehicle. The site will also provide an up to date list of every new car available within the UK, so customers can easily draw up a short list, before arranging viewings.
With a fresh new design, which will have enhanced navigation features, a revamped newsletter, and up to the minute pricing details, the OSV website could well be the only online vehicle resource that customers need to visit.
The family-run business began life in 1997, with just two members of staff – husband and wife team, Andrew and Debbie Kirkley. Today the company employs an additional 17 people, filling roles as diverse as HR, SEO management, sales, administration and finance. ‘When we started out we were optimistic,’ says Debbie, ‘but we never imagined that the company could be quite this successful.
‘Our aim from the beginning was to stand out from the competition. We wanted to offer a complete service to our customers; rather than focusing on a limited number of vehicle brands, we can supply all makes and models, saving our customers time and effort.’
‘Customer service has always been our number one focus,’ adds Andrew. ‘A large part of our success so far has been thanks to word-of-mouth customer recommendations. I can’t think of a better form of advertising than a satisfied customer who comes back for each future purchase.’
