The first Toyota Aygo was somewhat unremarkable as a city car – not in the case that it was particularly bad, but more the point that it wasn’t anything new. It was very inoffensive and mild mannered. Here with the second generation it seems as though the Aygo realised this in the midst of a midlife crisis and immediately booked a flight to Thailand, returning sometime later with a mental hairstyle, a devil may care attitude and a massive back tattoo depicting Shania Twain and Derek O’Cora fighting over a pineapple.
