The London Motor Show, held in 2019 at the ExCeL London was a huge event which attracted over 30,000 visitors in its 4-day run. For the first two days we took some time out to listen to informative panels about the future of electric, women the motor industry and had a chance to see a possible future for James Bond! Of course, it wasn't all about the panels, we saw stunt shows, supercars and brand new cars from Hyundai, Isuzu and MG. To find out more about what we saw, keep reading.
Traditionally, if you’re looking for car lease deals or purchase options on a car that oozes old-school grandeur, a Bentley would generally be close to the top of your wish-list. It’s fair to say though, for a long time Bentley wasn’t necessarily where you’d look if you were looking for something in the sporty supercar class. The words ‘Bentley’ and ‘sporting’ might not be synonymous, but then along came the Bentley Continental GT.
Does your CV read oil tycoon from Dubai or Goldman Sachs Investment Banker? If so, the 2014 Bentley Mulsanne might be the car for you. On the other hand, if you’re feeling the pinch of the recession, currently driving something less plush, average Joe like the rest of us, you may need to add a few extra zero’s to your salary before sliding behind the wheel of Bentley’s flagship road yacht. But hey, there’s no harm in dreaming, right?
In order to ensure an accurate fantasy, intimate knowledge of the 2014 Bentley Mulsanne is required. The W12 has been replaced by a throaty yet refined, twin turbo V8 plucked from the Volkswagen Phaeton. The new eight piston engine produces 505bhp and a stump pulling 1020Nm of torque – a number that puts many medium duty diesel trucks to shame. All that power travels to the rear wheels through an 8-speed ZF automatic transmission. With [...]

The beauty of this car is that it gives you the sheer performance and power you get with the likes of the Porsche Panamera and the Aston Martin Virage but with unparalleled comfort. All of this comes at a premium of course – and you’re looking for far more than a formidable reputation when you sign up for car leasing deals on vehicles in this class. There are in fact three very good reasons why you should consider investing in a [...]
Bentley’s New Bentley Continental GT 2013 is not only the worlds fastest four-seat convertible, but it’s also becoming known for its unusual and striking debut colour that many are hoping Bentley will replace by the time it debuts at the Detroit Auto Show later this month.
Here are a few details. The fastest open-top from Bentley comes with a W12, as you would expect, and it packs quite a punch thanks to its twin-turbocharged 625 horses. At 5,500 lbs, the convertible is almost 400 lbs heavier than the GT Speed Coupe, so the 275/35 tyres have to deal with quite a lot while getting all of the 590 lb-ft of torque through the 40:60 (front/rear) permanent all-wheel drive system. The engine handles a lofty 616 bhp hit speeds of over 200 mph! To handle all that power, a [...]
Bentley has a new concept SUV for us all to drool over. The EXP9F will not be your conventional choice. Bentley wants it to be the most luxurious and fastest both in acceleration and top speed.
CEO, Wolfgang Durheimer claims that the majority of existing Bentley owners also have a SUV of some sort. Because of this, there is a niche in the market for them to release the EXP9F.
Nothing about the EXP9F is subtle. The intimidating body will suit the 23 inch alloy wheels which feature turbine like spokes and locking nuts that have been inspired from the 1920s Bentley Le Man racers.
Bentleys honeycomb grille is still present, as are the distinctive round headlamps and vents. The prototype at the Geneva Motor Show was fitted with a twin turbo 6-litre W12. However, other alternatives are being considered to power this beast.
The interior is not lacking luxurious components either. Leather, wood and [...]
What’s the lowdown with the Bentley Continental GT Speed Coupe
Bentley has revealed its eye-popping new high-performance model: the Continental GT Speed coupe. Making its international debut at the 2012 Goodwood Festival of Speed, this model is the fastest ever production Bentley yet.
Combining contemporary luxury and a distinctly sporting character, this new model treats its drivers to edgy yet agile handling and voguish designs.
This Continental GT Speed owes its majestic power and brawny nature to its twin turbocharged-W12 engine that is capable of developing 625 PS at 6000 rev/min, a torque of 800 Nm and achieves 0 to 60 mph in just 4 seconds, with an amazing speed of 205 mph.
Drive goes to all four wheels, through a new close-ratio eight-speed automatic gearbox that contributes significantly to the remarkable 12% improvement in fuel economy. The lowered ride height and tweaked steering and suspension are aimed at giving sharper handling.
Some of the features we can expect to enjoy are dark-tinted [...]
