The New Ford Focus has a sleek and sporty design, and is packed with affordable technologies. Thankfully Ford have kept the build quality high throughout the range on this Focus.
You can pick from a Hatchback, Estate or Coupe Cabriolet style, and thanks to the aerodynamic detail throughout the Focus you get the return of better fuel economy and I have to say, style. The Focus has the same technology as the New Mondeo featuring an active grille shutter to block airflow through the cooling system when it is not required, significantly reducing drag.
Inside the New Ford Focus is the “MyFord” which will give you state of the art selection of controls and screens to operate the main features of the vehicle.
On the top of the range you will get an 8” touch screen. The system also allows Bluetooth and satellite navigation integration.
Ford have not stopped with improvement as this car also comes with the new Low Speed Safety System, the system uses forward facing optical sensors to avoid a collision, it checks 50 times a second and calculates the brake force required to avoid a collision.
Ford have an assortment of smart driver assistance, which either comes as standard or you can add to your new Ford Focus:
- Active Park Assist
- Lane Keeping Aid and Lane Departure Warning
- Auto High Beam
- Traffic Sign recognition
- Driver Alert
- Adaptive Cruise Control with Forward Alert and Collision Mitigation by Braking
- Blind Spot Information System
- Speed Limiter
- Rear Seat Belt Minder
- Power Child Locks
- Rear View Camera
Engine choice is also good starting with the 1.6 litre Durotorq Dci with a choice of 95 or 115 PS with mpg of 67 and CO2 of 109 g/km
You then have the 2.0 litre Durotorq Dci with 115/140 and 163 PS power outputs.
Ford have done a great job on the Focus, with the balance of quality, technology, safety and affordability.
When it comes down to affordability you can choose to buy the Focus on outright purchase, lease hire, contract purchase or hire purchase. Talk to OSV today about all the exciting options.
