A Quick Look: Peugeot 308 SR car review

From the 16 inch alloys on this new Peugeot to the prominent V shaped bonnet and re-sculptured ‘rear end’, this latest advance in the 308 range has made its mark!

Aimed squarely at the Local Business and Contract Hire and Lease hire market, with a range of ‘profitable’ inclusions, the new Peugeot 308 SR becomes a serious contender for any business user.

SmartNav and Bluetooth hands free phone kit come as standard, ensuring that each journey can be maximised to the full!

The Peugeot SR badge offers a car with all the ‘toys’!  Included as standard are remote control central locking, electric front windows, power steering, CD player, trip computer, electronically operated door mirrors and a fully adjustable steering column.

In addition, visibility issues that existed with the Peugeot 307 have been addressed competently by narrowing the A-pillars in the 308.

The luggage space, already a generous 430 litres, can be extended to 1,398 litres by folding down the rear seats.

With an average mpg of 62 on a combined cycle and CO2 emissions of 120 the Peugeot 308 SR has certainly announced its presence in the business community and will provided some serious competition for its rivals!
