Suzuki, Swift Sport – car of smiles

Here is a great car that is creating big smiles for a very small cost. Suzuki’s Swift Sport 1.6 won the “Carbuyer.co.uk” best 2012 Hatchback Award impressing  judges with its agile handling, sparkling performance and affordable prices.

The Swift Sport 1.6 has a 136bhp VVT engine. It’s not the quickest on acceleration at 0-62mph in 8.7 seconds, but the maximum speed of 121mph is more than adequate. It will give you a combined fuel consumption of 44 mpg and emissions are just 147 C02g/km.

For £13,449 you may have expected a bare bone selection of extras however the Suzuki has cut no corners. Included are seven airbags, auto air conditioning, cruise control, Bluetooth connectivity and USB port, rear privacy glass, 17 inch alloy wheels and a metallic paint finish. The HID projector headlamps for both high and low beam are included as standard. This is normally unavailable or a costly extra amongst its competitors.

We are starting to see a varied selection of these stylish Hatchbacks entering the market. The Swift Sport does lack internal exclusivity and its small boot space may not suit everyone. However, it is great fun to drive and won’t leave you bankrupt if you should decide to purchase one. This car offers great opportunities for you if you’re looking to buy or contract lease.
