By accessing this web site, you are agreeing to be bound by these web site Terms and Conditions of Use, all applicable laws and regulations, and agree that you are responsible for compliance with any applicable local laws. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site. The materials contained in this web site are protected by applicable copyright and trademark law.

These terms and conditions apply between you and OSV Ltd (OSV) for the acquisition via various funding options of UK vehicles listed on our website and is supplied by recommended dealers/manufacturers.

1. Specification and Images

We have made every reasonable effort to ensure that the Goods conform to illustrations, photographs and descriptions provided on our website/order form and any other communication, images are provided from 3rd party stock or CGI images and may not be the same specification and will not be of the vehicle you will receive.  We cannot, however, guarantee that all descriptions, illustrations and/or photographs will be precisely accurate and we suggest that You clarify the exact specification of the vehicle with Us prior to agreeing to purchase. No purchasing decision should be made without verification of the latest data from either the manufacturer or franchised dealer. 

If We find, or are made aware of, any typographical, clerical or other accidental errors or omissions in any advertisement or any other documents We will make every reasonable effort to correct such errors or omissions as soon as is reasonably possible, for example “Leather” may not represent 100% genuine leather and may be partial or artificial leather.  

We reserve the right to make any changes in the specification of the Goods that may be required to conform to any legal requirement without notice. The mileage on the Goods may vary from the advertised mileage by a small margin and this is due to the Goods being moved in transit or during the preparation for sale.  

If you are ordering a used vehicle the Goods may have previously been used as a lease or rental vehicle and may have had multiple users.  The Goods may also not be UK specifications and could be an imported vehicle.  If You have any questions about the history of the Goods please discuss these with us prior to placing your order.  

The CO2 and P11D values are given as a guide only and are subject to change by the Manufacturer and factory or secondary options added to the vehicle. The CO2 figure provided is based on static data provided by the manufacturer for the relevant base model of the vehicle and does not reflect (i) any additional or alternative options you have selected; or (ii) any updates to this figure that the manufacturer may publish prior to registration of the vehicle. If the CO2 figure changes, the Benefit in Kind (BIK) tax and VED payable in respect of the vehicle may also change. All CO2 figures and associated information (including BIK tax and VED) are provided for guidance purposes only and are subject to change by the time the vehicle is delivered and may differ to real-world results. You agree that we are not liable for any differences achieved.  

Any MPG, range, CO2 and consumption information provided is based on static data provided by the manufacturer or by a 3rd party provider for the relevant base model of the vehicle and does not reflect (I) any additional or alternative options you have selected; or (ii) any updates to these figures that the manufacturer may publish prior to registration of the vehicle. All MPG, range and consumption information is provided for guidance purposes only and is subject to change by the time the vehicle is delivered and may differ to real world results. You agree that we are not liable for any differences achieved.  

Manufacturers reserve the right to change the specification of your vehicle while it is on order, which you accept may happen and is out of our control, we will advise you when we are made aware of such changes and will confirm if you want to proceed with the order of transfer your order to a new vehicle.  

2. Prices

The prices on the OSV website are updated regularly, lease prices are plus VAT at the current rate, all prices are a guideline and not an offer to supply.

Lease Prices can be on terms between 2 and 5 years with various initial rentals and mileage parameters, a full quotation is available upon request. Lease agreements also attract a document fee of £300, additional fees may apply and will be advised before ordering.

Cash Prices are exclusive of delivery and road fund licence, a processing fee may be charged. Photographs and vehicle description with a full quotation are available upon request.

Finance prices are subject to credit approval.

You should only enter into a finance agreement if you are totally comfortable that you can afford the monthly payments and financial commitment.

OSV does its best to keep all prices correct at all times, however, vehicles and offers may be withdrawn without notice, errors may also occur on the OSV website, in such cases section 5 of the OSV terms and conditions apply.

3. Availability

The OSV website is updated regularly and vehicles can be sold very quickly. Vehicles can only be secured when finance is approved, order is signed and deposit paid. OSV will confirm the vehicle has been secured at that point only. Refer to the order terms and conditions if the vehicle becomes unavailability after order.

4. Disclaimer

The materials on the OSV web site are provided with no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaims and negates all other warranties, including without limitation, implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of intellectual property or other violation of rights. Further, OSV does not warrant or make any representations concerning the accuracy, likely results, or reliability of the use of the materials on its Internet web site or otherwise relating to such materials or on any sites linked to this site provided by third parties, if they be individuals or corporates. All images on the website are for illustration purposes only.

5. Limitations

In no event shall OSV or its suppliers be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data or profit, or due to business interruption,) arising out of the use or inability to use the materials on the site, even if OSV or an OSV authorised representative has been notified orally or in writing of the possibility of such damage.

6. Links and Advertising Banners

OSV has not reviewed all of the sites linked to its Internet web site and is not responsible for the contents of any such linked site. The inclusion of any link does not imply endorsement by OSV of the site. Use of any such linked web site is at the user’s own risk. Links from our site to others are provided as further information, we accept no liability in respect of their content.

7. Calculations

Calculations and data may also be subject to data error and/or occasional human error.

8. Availability of the Site

OSV Ltd intend the site to be available 7 days a week, 24 hours a day except for periods where we are updating the site or during periods of technical errors. We cannot guarantee access all the time and accept no liability accordingly.

OSV may revise these terms of use for its website at any time without notice. By using this website you are agreeing to be bound by the then current version of these Terms and Conditions of Use.

11. Statutory Rights and our liability

  1. OSV is committed to customer service. Should you have any complaints about our service, we will endeavour to resolve them in a fair and effective manner.
  2. For a copy of our customer complaints procedure or if you have a complaint about our service you should email [email protected]. We will acknowledge your complaint within 5 working days of receipt and will take all reasonable efforts to resolve it promptly. We will provide you with a timescale for resolving the dispute and keep you regularly updated.

12. Live Chat

When you use our live chat service, we automatically collect the following information: IP address, browser type and operating system. We will also collect your name, phone number, email address and any other information which you provide to us in order to follow up on an enquiry.

13. Force24 Cookies and tracking

Our organisation utilises Force24’s marketing automation platform.

Force24 cookies are first party cookies and are enabled at the point of cookie acceptance on this website. The cookies are named below:

  • F24_autoID
  • F24_personID

They allow us to understand our audience engagement thus allowing better optimisation of marketing activity.

f24_autoId – This is a temporary identifier on a local machine or phone browser that helps us track anonymous information to be later married up with f24_personid. If this is left anonymous it will be deleted after 6 months. Non-essential, first party, 10 years, persistent.

f24_personId – This is an ID generated per individual contact in the Force24 system to be able to track behaviour and form submissions into the Force24 system from outside sources per user. This is used for personalisation and ability to segment decisions for further communications. Non-essential, first party, 10 years, persistent.

The information stored by Force24 cookies remains anonymous until:

  • Our website is visited via clicking from an email or SMS message, sent via the Force24 platform and cookies are accepted on the website.
  • A user of the website completes a form containing email address from either our website or our Force24 landing pages.

Device & browser type and open statistics

All emails have a tracking pixel (a tiny invisible image) with a query string in the URL. Within the URL we have user details to identify who opened an email for statistical purposes.

All links within emails and SMS messages sent from the Force24 platform contain a unique tracking reference, this reference help us identify who clicked an email for statistical purposes.

14. General Finance Terms and Conditions

Finance is not guaranteed, and any finance application is subject to a credit check and individual circumstances.

Depending on your personal circumstance, sub-prime lending may be required, sub-prime finance is not guaranteed and may cost more than finance provided by a prime lender. We will try to obtain finance for you but that there is no guarantee. It may be from a sub-prime lender, and if so, the cost of finance is likely to be at a higher rate than prime lenders offer.

OSV Limited is an Appointed Representative of Automotive Compliance Ltd, who is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FRN 497010) allowing us to act as a credit broker, not as a lender, for the introduction to a limited number of lenders and to act as an agent on behalf of the insurer for insurance distribution activities only.  

We are not an independent financial advisor and we act as their agent for this introduction.  A fee is charged for our services and typically, we may receive commission from the lenders we work with, this may vary depending on the lender, but this does not influence the interest rate you will pay. If you ask us what the amount of commission is, we will tell you in good time before the Finance agreement is executed.
