These terms and conditions apply between you and OSV Ltd (OSV) for the acquisition via various funding options of UK vehicles listed on our website and is supplied by recommended dealers/manufacturers.

1. Specification and Images

The vehicle specifications displayed on the website, are supplied by the various sources and formatted for our use. Whilst every effort is made to verify and ensure the accuracy of the data, the materials appearing on OSV’s website, in social media posts and marketing materials could include technical, typographical, or photographic errors. No purchasing decision should be made without verification of the latest data from either the manufacturer or franchised dealer.

2. Prices

The prices on the OSV web site are updated regularly, lease prices are plus VAT at the current rate, all prices are a guideline and not an offer to supply.

Lease Prices can be on terms between 1 and 5 years with various initial rentals and mileage parameters, a full quotation is available upon request. Lease agreements also attract a document fee of £300.

Cash Prices are exclusive of delivery and road fund licence, a processing fee may be charged. Photographs and vehicle description with a full quotation are available upon request.

Finance prices are subject to credit approval.

You should only enter into a finance agreement if you are totally comfortable that you can afford the monthly payments and financial commitment.

OSV does its best to keep all prices correct at all times, however, vehicles and offers may be withdrawn without notice, errors may also occur on the OSV web site, in such cases section 5 of the OSV terms and conditions apply.

3. Availability

The OSV web site is updated regularly and vehicles can be sold very quickly. Vehicles can only be secured when finance is approved, order is signed and deposit paid. OSV will confirm the vehicle has been secured at that point only. If all the above has been completed and the vehicle is no longer available then any monies paid will be refunded unless you accept a replacement vehicle if available and section 5 of the OSV terms and conditions will apply.

4. Disclaimer

The materials on the OSV web site are provided with no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaims and negates all other warranties, including without limitation, implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of intellectual property or other violation of rights. Further, OSV does not warrant or make any representations concerning the accuracy, likely results, or reliability of the use of the materials on its Internet web site or otherwise relating to such materials or on any sites linked to this site provided by third parties, if they be individuals or corporates. All images on the website are for illustration purposes only.

5. Limitations

In no event shall OSV or its suppliers be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data or profit, or due to business interruption,) arising out of the use or inability to use the materials on the site, even if OSV or an OSV authorised representative has been notified orally or in writing of the possibility of such damage.

6. Links and Advertising Banners

OSV has not reviewed all of the sites linked to its Internet web site and is not responsible for the contents of any such linked site. The inclusion of any link does not imply endorsement by OSV of the site. Use of any such linked web site is at the user’s own risk. Links from our site to others are provided as further information, we accept no liability in respect of their content.

7. Data

The data provided is from 3rd parties and is correct to the best of our knowledge. OSV Ltd can not warrant that the information is 100% correct and accurate. OSV Ltd shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from the information provided and users of the site should always seek independent clarification from a suitable professional. Performance, mpg and any other statistics given have been provided by 3rd parties and should not be relied on as possible in the real world as many factors affect what a vehicle can achieve.

8. Calculations

Calculations and data may also be subject to data error and/or occasional human error.

9. Availability of the Site

OSV Ltd intend the site to be available 7 days a week, 24 hours a day except for periods where we are updating the site or during periods of technical errors. We cannot guarantee access all the time and accept no liability accordingly.

10. Site Terms of Use Modifications

OSV may revise these terms of use for its web site at any time without notice. By using this web site you are agreeing to be bound by the then current version of these Terms and Conditions of Use.

11. Statutory Rights

  1. Nothing in these conditions shall affect your statutory rights.
  2. OSV is committed to customer service. Should you have any complaint about our service, we will endeavour to resolve them in a fair and effective manner.
  3. For a copy of our customer complaints procedure or if you have a compliant about our service you should email sales@osv.ltd.uk. We will acknowledge your complaint within 5 working days of receipt and will take all reasonable efforts to resolve it promptly. We will provide you with a timescale for resolving the dispute and keep you regularly updated.

12. Live Chat

We use a live chat service on our website provided by a third party called Chat Heroes. Their privacy policy is available here: http://chatheroes.com/privacy-policy/

When you use our live chat service, we automatically collect the following information: IP address, browser type and operating system.

We will also collect your name, phone number, email address and any other information which you provide to us in order to follow up on an enquiry. If your enquiry is dependant on location, we may also need to confirm a postcode.

Transfer and storage of your information

The information collected by our live chat service is processed by Chat Heroes and their third party chat service provider, SnapEngage, the privacy policy of which is available here: https://snapengage.com/privacy-policy/. SnapEngage stores your information for 60 days.

A transcript of your live chat is forwarded to us by SnapEngage via email and stored on our email servers.

Live chat transcripts: we store the information from our live chat service for a maximum period of seven (7) years in order to defend against legal claims. This period is the maximum period in which a claim form can be issued and served in respect of contract and tort claims under the Limitation Act 1980 under English law.

Transfers of your information outside the European Economic Area

15. General Finance Terms and Conditions

Please note, you will not own the vehicle outright until all payments are made, this is depending on the type of finance provided.

If you default on your finance payments, then the vehicle may be repossessed by the finance provider.

You must be 18 years or older to apply for finance.

Finance is not guaranteed, and any finance application is subject to a credit check and individual circumstances.

Depending on your personal circumstance, sub-prime lending may be required, sub-prime finance is not guaranteed and may cost more than finance provided by a prime lender. We will try to obtain finance for you but that there is no guarantee. It may be from a sub-prime lender, and if so, the cost of finance is likely to be at a higher rate than prime lenders offer.
