Renault have delivered once again with their latest version of this popular hatchback.  As expected it’s a story of evolution, not revolution, as Renault have retained everything that worked well on previous models and then thrown in a few extras just to keep things ‘interesting’!

As always, Renault are very generous with the spec levels and quality of finish, so it’s no surprise to find that along with the air-con and full electric windows, the Dynamiqe also arrives with alloy wheels, cruise control, automatic wipers and lights and an upgraded stereo with auxiliary input.  However, as the inclusion of the Tomtom name suggests on the tin, there is indeed a sat nav nestling inside along with Bluetooth connectivity making this ideal not only for families but business users alike.

There are some reported issues with space in the rear for those irritating long legged passengers, although it’s sweeping new bodylines and generous luggage space more than compensate!  As always though, safety features highly with Renault and the Megane has a five-star rating, the maximum available in the NCAP crash test scale.

Agile on the road and solid through the corners, the Megane rides comfortably both around town and out on the open road.  Variable assistance electric power steering will adapt to vehicle speed to make sure that at all times the driver feels completely in control and can have some fun into the bargain!
